Newborn session of my adorable nephew Breu, beautifully captured in Jacksonville, Florida.
It was a true honor to capture my brother-in-law’s first family portrait as a family of three. I was thrilled when they announced they were expecting a baby boy this summer, and even more excited to photograph little Breu’s newborn moments! We took beautiful photos in their home in Florida.
NEWBORN SESSION IN THE LIVING ROOM
My brother-in-law and his wife have impeccable taste, making their home the perfect setting for this session. Visiting Florida for the first time this summer, I was struck by the intense heat, so staying indoors for their session was the right call. The natural daylight streaming into their beautifully decorated home provided the perfect lighting for capturing their precious moments.
INTIMATE NEWBORN SESSION IN THE DINING ROOM
My favorite part of photography is incorporating personal touches into my sessions. I remember my brother-in-law mentioning how much he loves playing his guitar for his wife and new baby boy. I thought using his guitar as a prop would beautifully capture this special moment in their lives. Austin shared that it took him about six months to save for his beloved guitar, making it a meaningful addition to their session.
THE BEDROOM & NURSERY
The bedroom provided the perfect, cozy setting for capturing this intimate moment. The soft natural light streaming through the windows created a perfect atmosphere. From snuggling on the bed to quiet moments in the rocking chair, every shot in the room reflected the love and tranquility of their new family life.
