Mantua Utah Poppies is one of my favorite places to visit. I always recommend for my clients to always stay on the trail. We do not want to ruin these beautiful poppies. Rumor says that they will start requiring permits to shoot at this location. However, I was lucky enough to be able to photograph this beautiful family at the poppy fields.

The Mantua Poppies are typically in bloom the first week of June into the second week. They are located nearby a beautiful campground.
The lighting was amazing and the scenery was just like an icing on a cake. The best time to shoot at this location would be around 6:30pm. It does get a bit chilly when the sun goes down.
TIPS FOR VISITING THE POPPIES.
The Mantua Poppy Fields are stunning and worth it. If you are going to visit them, here are some tips based on my experience:
- Bring Bug Spray: If you plan to visit the poppy fields near dusk then definitely bring bug spray!
- DO NOT pick the poppies. Picking the poppies ruin their beauty.
- Stay on the trail. There are lots of little trails through the poppies. Try to stay on the paths so we don’t ruin these poppies.
